2025 Golf GTI
Performance Refined
It’s back and better than ever. The 2025 Golf GTI isn’t just about thrilling performance (though it delivers plenty). It’s about refining the look that defines this legendary car, elevating its iconic design to new levels.
Design
The 2025 OpenRoad VW GTI is as much about making a statement as it is about performance. With new LED lights featuring Adaptive Front-lighting System (AFS), available 19" Queenstown wheels, and a dynamic spoiler, the GTI commands attention wherever it goes with unlimited possibilities ahead.
The Golf GTI's rear is just as striking as its front, featuring the signature GTI bumper, dual exhaust outlets, and redesigned taillights—ensuring every departure is as stylish as your arrival.
Style
Enjoy the ideal combination of support and comfort with the GTI’s signature plaid cloth sport seats, standard on the base trim. For a more luxurious touch, opt for the available Artvelour seating surfaces.
The GTI’s sleek design goes beyond aesthetics—it’s built for performance. A roof spoiler and carefully optimized exterior features improve aerodynamics, delivering a more efficient and thrilling driving experience.
Performance
Prepare to experience pure joy behind the wheel, powered by a turbocharged engine delivering 241 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. The Vehicle Dynamics Manager (VDM) continuously monitors driver inputs to enhance vehicle response, ensuring a balanced, neutral ride with minimal understeer.
The Vorderachsquersperre (VAQ) is a torque-sensing, electro-hydraulic limited-slip differential, electronically controlled for ultimate precision. Working seamlessly with the Golf GTI’s Vehicle Dynamics Manager, VAQ manages torque distribution across the front axle. When accelerating out of a corner or navigating slippery conditions, VAQ precisely shifts power to the left and right, enhancing traction and control.
In the Autobahn trim, equipped with available Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) adaptive dampers, the VDM can adjust individual wheel damping rates up to 200 times per second, improving lateral agility and stability.
Technology
The 10.25” Digital Cockpit Pro comes standard in every Golf GTI. The default sport layout prominently features a large tachometer, but it’s highly customizable, offering views focused on driver assistance, a classic two-dial setup, or a sleek minimalist design.
Take control of your OpenRoad Volkswagen GTI with just your voice. The advanced voice control system lets you manage navigation, entertainment, temperature, and more, allowing you to keep your hands on the wheel and your attention on the open road. Elevate your music, podcasts, audiobooks, or any audio that accompanies your drive with the harman/kardon® audio system. Customize the sound to your preference with 8 speakers, a subwoofer, and a 12-channel amplifier.
Safety
Adaptive Cruise Control makes stop-and-go traffic effortless. It maintains a safe distance, automatically brakes, and accelerates again without you needing to touch the pedals.
When Travel or Lane Assist is active and a serious situation arises where you’re unable to drive, IQ.DRIVE technologies can help bring the vehicle to a stop. It will first alert you multiple times, and if there’s no response, it will safely bring the car to a controlled stop, helping protect you and others on the open road.
