Mid-2017 OpenRoad Volkswagen will begin selling the new Volkswagen e-Golf.

The new 35.8 kWh lithium-ion battery gives the refreshed e-Golf about 200 kilometres of emissions-free driving range on a single charge. That’s up from 130 kilometres on the previous model sold in Europe. The e-Golf is the first 100% electric VW in Canada and we cannot wait to drive it!

The e-Golf will be the first model in the Golf family to feature a new style for the front and rear with new lights. Inside the e-Golf you can expect new infotainment features and the much-anticipated VW Digital Cockpit.

You will be able to charge your e-Golf by a regular household outlet, Level 2 AC charging station or a public Level 3 DC fast charger. The Level 3 charger will charge the vehicle to 80 per cent in about 30 minutes.

No pricing has been announced as yet, but being an all-electric vehicle the e-Golf will be eligible for a significant rebate from BC government.
